Thank you Sjoerd, the plates, cups, saucers and bowls are from Denby UK. They're not cheap but stands up to the occasional knock and if any does get broken I can buy just that one piece, sometimes they're on offer.
We really ought to invest in a set someday. We just sort of buy them as we need them. I think that we are overcome by the tightwad syndrome.
