Thank you :)… the sun is out and about today. When the soggy spongy grass dries a bit might be able to mow. It’s getting 6” high and super soggy real estate at the moment.
Lot’s of new growth to pic today.

Niiiiiiiiiiice Pac. I especially liked the little aquilegia peeking out. I used to have that one, but sadly it died two years ago. I find it an attractive one.

Columbines reseed every year almost a huge pest. This winter was extra cold and heavy wet snow .. may have interrupted the whole seedling process of a lot of re-seeders in the garden… especially hybrids.. that’s a good thing ,time to change things up.
What flowers have reseeded in your garden. Columbines are the State flower for Colorado.. live in that state for awhile. Can’t grow half the plants there that I can here in Oregon.

Too many to mention. I enjoy Aquilegias very much and like for them to interbreed. I get some real lookers sometimes.

Oh I bet you do…that remind me of a foxglove that crossed with something and turned into a real wacky flower like
triple flower hybrid. I called it the ‘Herman Munster’ of foxgloves.a real oddity full open faced foxglove. Not bell shaped.

Our roses are blooming. Here is Marie Pavie--a photo my husband took today.

She's an antique rose that blooms over and over again. She has a very light scent that is pleasant to catch as you walk by.

Great pics, Pac— I know that Amaryllis. It is gorgeous as is that appealing daff. What an odd Digitalis. Did you save seeds?

Jane— lovely roses. That is an impressive bush located in just the right place. It shows relly well there.

Marlin… beautiful rose bush… wow your garden is awake. Half of mine is still asleep.
I like the whit flowers with the green foliage contrast. I bet it’s a stand out at night too.

Sjoerd yes I saved the odd flower seeds. They didn’t come true to the oddity of the origional when they flowered. It was a bummer because foxgloves are a biannual..the first year they thro up greenery second year they flower. Waited two years to find out the seed flowers were regular tube shaped. I’ve never had anything like that happen again. Bummer..

Well Pac, at least you have a piccy. I enjoyed seeing it. It made me think of one of the manifestations of a condition known as fasciation, I think its called.

Mel encouraging to see your fruit blooms and the hellebores in your garden :smt026. Looks like the snow is melting… that means more blooms to come.:smt041
