Luv this little flower Oxalis Oregana or Redwood sorrel. It is a species of the wood sorrel family, Oxalidaceae is native to moist Douglas-fir and coastal redwoods in forests of western North America, from southwestern British Columbia to Washington , Oregon and Northern California. Got a lot of dead nettle in the pastures. However isprayed the pastures last season with a pasture spray mixture by the Oregon Department of Agriculture. It took a few times and is safe for stock animals. My favorite pasture flower are the rain lilies. The wild blackberry is on the move and taking over everywhere. Been trying to get a hold on all that moss, lichen and green slimy crud that is growing on everything that doesn’t move. Managed a few widows and side of the house today.
Is that a Fiddlehead or sword fern they grow wild in my zone 8b. They get such a thick deep root system I use a chain on the tractor bucket to pull them out. They are etible too. Has anyone tried them? They are nutritious but don’t look that good to me to eat, they look great in the garden. My fav ferns are the cinnamon Osmundastrum cinnamomeum & Japanese Painted ferns Athyrium niponicum they are hardy in my zone and have quite showy fronds . @Oreti lovely flowers I especially like the 8th pic down … looks like a tulip flower that came right outta Monet’s garden..looks like a fringed parrot tulip. Never seen one like it. Very pretty
Fringed variegated pink/white and solid pink Azaleas blooming on one shrub. Alway a reputable bloomer every year for over 25 years. Azalia double blooms.
Beautiful Pac, I've never seen fringed Azaleas . Ours are all budding up well but a little way off from blooming yet.
