Our paperwhites (a variety of narcissus) are beginning to bloom, just before the ice/snow storm arrives. Husband took a photo and I nipped out to cut the open ones for a bouquet. Since most hadn't budded yet, they will survive and we'll have more soon.
I like those ones, Jane. We have some similar butt they are the last ones to bloom and the last ones standing at the end ofthe season.
@Logan, I've never seen such a richly colored Hellebore. It's brilliant. All of the flowers here are beautiful.
Thank you @Daniel W nearly all of the hellebores are seedlings from one plant that I bought years ago, never know what colour they will be.

Thank you Cayuga Morning if you just leave the old flowers on yours and let the seeds drop where they are, don't disturb the soil around the plant and they should come up the next flowering time.
