    Holy Mackerel! Those red currents look fantastic. I am surprised that you do not have to cover them to protect against the blackbirds. They would not make it to the table here. The allotment blackbirds are ruthless.
    Nice stand of Lavender, BTW.

    Thank you Sjoerd, yes did have a problem with the blackbirds but they like them when not ripe.

    That in itself seems an accomplishment. I have had better luck broadcasting them onto the open ground. Well done you.
    Speaking of poppies get Eileen to show you her Lindholms (Meconopsis). They are truly sunning.
