    Fabulous pics everyone...I've been out and about these last coup!e of days so I've only just caught up on the posts here.

    @Pacnorwest I absolutely loooove your Tree Collection area...so calm inducing I should imagine. It beautifully shows just how many shades of green there are. Stunning beyond words.:)

    @Oreti enjoyed the tour of your garden. The plant diversity in your pics has captured the lush vibrant blooms of distinction to the credit of the author of this fine garden oasis shared.

    I found this quote which explains the intricacies of garden pics shared and how they are appreciated by the observers.
    Russell Page: If you wish to make anything grow, you must understand it, and understand it in a very real sense. "Green fingers" are a fact and a mystery only to the unpracticed. But green fingers are the extensions of a verdant heart.

    Not flowers, but here's what's looking good to me today.

    IMG_8375.jpeg

    Ranier, Bing (I think), and a Montmorency relative, North Star (I think). The last cherries on those trees, and I forgive (sort of) the thieving contractor employees :setf_004:. I got quite a harvest after all.

    Plan: Preserves. Pie (The tart cherries). Dehydrate the extra to make cherry "raisins"

    @Pacnorwest what a beautiful estate you have. A literal park. I love seeing all the different “rooms”. Would love to spend the day just strolling through it.

    @Oreti Those white roses are to die for. Loved seeing the frog :)

    @Daniel W my mouth is watering at the sight of those cherries.

    @Sjoerd Your poppies make me wonder if the seeds that arrived in the mail this week can be tossed into soil. I ordered 4 types of poppies because this property has none and I miss seeing them. Your photo made me think it wouldn’t hurt to spread dome seeds around even though it is June.

    Did a day outing to the Seattle Woodland Park Zoo. It was a lovely day. The butterfly garden made my gardening soul sing. IMG_9069.jpeg IMG_9068.jpeg IMG_9070.jpeg IMG_9067.jpeg

    @Pacnorwest . Thank you

    Russell Page was such a talented gardener.
    ' Limitations imply possibilities, Problems are a challenge '.
    And I love this quote of his too , as I enjoy gardening in rain ( not torrential!!:)).
    ' I'm tired, it's raining, and I'm not a waterlilly'. :chuckle:

    He did some work at Longleat ,which isn't too far from us . When our children were very young we often loaded up our caravan and headed off there for a weekend away. It's a beautiful place.:)
