Daniel—Great garden pics. The mini-dahlias really are beautiful to look at. It is always good to see what’s going on there.

Columbia— that poppy is the one in bud that you posted earlier, right? I quite like that colour. We sometimes get blow-ins here and if they are not in the veggie garden they can stay. We have seen some in the past just like yours. Poppies can be so enjoyable. Pity the blooms do not last longer.

Annie— What a lovely collection of flower you are showing.

Pac— your pics are once again thrilling to see. You have the colour, you have the structure and you have nature. Smashing hummer shot. I can just imaging you strolling about your grounds with a cloud of hummingbirds circling your head. It is the stuff of wondrous nature films.
I mean spiders, great horned owls and hummingbirds. I am going to stare calling you Pac Attenborough.

Zigs— the Sweet peas look delicately beautiful and that sunflower— so nice.

Very pretty Sjoerd. I used to have a white Scabious / Pincushion flower (your Knautia macedonica ) that perished from a very cold winter many years ago. I started some multicoloured ones from seed this year and am eagerly waiting for first buds to show up.

Mel—cheers. I really like this type of flower. There are so many types. I have a very tall yellow one and some purply-blue ones
