Look at this, a beautiful spring scene. The "acacias“ are in full bloom.

That is a huge pile of snow that fell on the canigou.

Meanwhile back at the castle, we have yellow "acacia“

There is even a violet still in bloom.

This was the best photo I could get of this tiny blue butterfly.

@Odif Does your snowpack affect your summer water supplies like it does ours. Just curious. Lovely photos.

Odif—There are some stunning foto’s there. Even when you did not live in the castle, I find your part of the world a tremendously beautiful terrein full of dramatic landscapes and vistas.

Daniel— your Rhodie looks really good. It seems a perfect size for near your home. The colour is fresh and stunning as well. You must be quite pleased with yourself and with the beauty of your bush. So stunning.

I have a Washington Hawthorne which I planted many years ago. About 7' now. Was just a bare root came with the Arbor society 10 free trees deal and was the only variety that made it.

A transplanted double clematis is just beginning to bloom. Will never order from Brecks again as most did not survive and this measly vine is 3-4 years in my care. Nice to see its flower. Should be real pretty when fully opened. Hopefully it will really like its new home.
