Gorgeous, Loggie. I see your bees. That geranium is dependable, isn’t it.

Thank you Sjoerd and yes it is, it's a pity that there's not a lot of bees on it.

Sjoerd thanks for the explanation. I understand it’s been busy now that so much more has cropped up in the garden and life.

Odif… nice lil tree seeding and beautiful Rhody.

Logan hardy geraniums has been a long lived flower companion in my garden for years. Tough lil plant…

    Daniel nice variety of flowers.

Daniel, those are striking flowers. The purple and white iris, the light yellow rose— oh my word! Wat beauties.

Yeah Pac— things will pick back up here as time goes on. I, for one, am looking forward to see pics of what is going on on your property. The trees, the shrubs, the flowering plants. You have a lot to show…and I wanna see it. You have already given us a peek at things growing there, but I just know there will be more.

Nasty miniature rose! Guess it’s pretty but I got bloody just attempting to get a photo. The tiny thorns on tiny stems are deadly torture advices making weeding difficult at best and generally impossible. It is wild on my hillside and I was surprised to see the double full blooms on such a tough little spiky, weedy stem. It has survived with the oregano, juniper, sword ferns and a few other hardy perennials without water or care for probably a decade.

Well, they are pretty ones, and don’t they look lovely.
The prickers are the reason that we have only one sort. The Bride and prickers do not get along. No love lost there.

Jewell, that is a beautiful rose! Two of our roses I don't water--they survive on the blood I shed while caring for them.

There was an Agatha Christie movie that hinged on the fact that a particular climbing rose was thornless. I forget which mystery, probably a Hercule Poirot. Mine are all thorny, but some are definitely more hazardous than others,

Tropical Thunder. I bought it bare root, mail order last year.

It's described as a climber. I haven't made the trellis yet, so it's good that it has not climbed much yet.
