What's the oddest thing you used for a plant container?

    I've seen boots, bras, oil tanks, hollowed out pumpkins, a lot of weird things. I don't have any myself, but I'm looking for ideas to spark my imagination.

    An old neighbour of ours used to collect old toilets and bedpans to grow his flowers in. Sadly he's no longer with us and the person who bought his house got rid of them all. :(

    I will be making an old car wheel into a planter later this week. Daughter had to hit the curb to avoid hitting a jerk who pulled into the her lane and the bent wheel had to be replaced. I have a Dallas Red Lantana waiting for it's new home.

    Along the same lines as Toni, I have tulips planted in an old tractor wheel :p
