    Help!
I bought these just a couple weeks ago from a nursery, and transplanted them. After noticing caterpillar damage, I sprayed them with bt but I don't know why some leaves are curling and they're not growing well. Apart from fertilizing, is there something I can do?

Hi Plantmom, I don't grow fruits but your leaves otherwise look healthy...are they being exposed to the sun as it looks like scorching as this can cause the curling.

Looks like they are older plants in too small a pot ! You can remove the leaves that are sticking out on the long skinny stems. Leave the center part,, repot them in a larger container and feed them ! They should be full of leaves and a rather compact plant,, they will soon put out runners that will be another strawberry plant if they touch the soil ! You can root them while still attached to the mother plant or wait till they get a bit larger and cut them off and plant them yourself. The main thing now is good sunlight and a good fertilizer !
May take them about two or three weeks to rebound and start growing again !
When you buy plants from a commercial nursery they often have been in those little pots way too long but they sell them anyway rather than lose money !
What did you fertilize them with ?

Thank you! this weekend I did as you suggested. Now am waiting with my fingers crossed!
For fertilizer, I'm using either Miracle-Gro or Osmocote (pics attached).

Hello @plantmom I use the miracle-grow in the tubs to feed my plants the same one and I have noticed they've flourished even better this year :like:

Hello there, PM. I am sorry to hear that your plants didn't make it.
If you try again to grow them, look on this site for tips. There are a number of threads and "how-to's". I know because I have written a couple myself. They are generally easy to grow once you get the ground and planting right.

Martin your quite right mate :like: because our property by the previous owner was a grow your own for distillery purposes  and there was a large patch of strawberries that my dog used to devour till his heart was content :whistling:
