It's so hard for me to imagine, that I'll soon be crossing into +40°C in day time temperatures (+104°F). While most you all haven't even gone beyond 20°C (68°F) yet... What you all are experiencing is actually winter temperatures for me.

 

Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze from the south south east temp 14c feels like 12c with the breeze.

 

I wouldn't swop our climate for any other @S-H ...I think it's perfect, lush and green suits me fine.

 

But on the flip side @Oreti I can do gardening all year round!

 

On my flip side @S-H ......I get a well earned gardening break.

We do other things during the Winter we go and stay with family more as I don't like to leave our garden during the Spring and Summer months. So it's perfect for us.

 

@Oreti On my flip side, I ostracized all my relatives when I was only 12, (during the late 1980s). So I don't have nor need any relatives to go and stay with! Therefore my gardening experience (be it whatever time of the year) is more rewarding! As I don't have such annoyance and distraction in life...



I guess this too was a lot like weeding in the garden. Taking out all the unwanted and ugly plants which neither add to the beauty of the yard, nor were of any other benefit - But were just there to drain the vitality of my garden, by depleting the soil. While adding absolutely nothing of any substance - Except for toxicity. So out they went!

 

@Logan I think I have the same variety of tulips. Going to look tonite.

However satellite imagery shows that clouds are heading my way, (from the coast of Oman). So over the ocean during midday they will pick up moisture and likely become rain clouds.
