Fall will be a welcome time to do chores without so much heat, and catch up with deferred tasks. I'm very grateful for some garden bounty in the cabinet, basement, and freezer. Those will be nourishing and a pleasure for months to come. Of course, there will be leaf collecting and garden bed cleanup. Nice jobs to do outdoors in crisp fall weather. On Sept 23, the Vancouver WA symphony will have a performance of Ravel's "Bolero". My favorite, and I already have the tickets.
