My husband eats curries until they almost come out of his ears - the hotter the better. Me, well I like Kormas but that's as I can take.

@eileen, I love curries too. However, I don't know how to cook them.

We only have a bit of chilli in some onions, don't like it too hot.

I like spicy foods, but really, really spicy food prevents me from appreciating flavour.

That's right Sjoerd, hubby likes to use mustard with the roast beef and turkey, i don't.

Daniel, it's easy to cheat a bit with curry. Curry in a hurry here consists of shop bought curry paste which is mixed with water. Combine and fry all left over vegetables including lots of chunky onions and garlic. Add ready cooked prawns a minute or two before serving.
Good with rice, pasta, baked spuds or just warm crusty bread rolls.

I usually use the easiest and quickest way for cooking - it leaves more time to get down and dirty in the garden :D

I asked Santa Claus for a cast iron tortilla press, for Christmas. I have been a good boy this year, so I'm hopeful. :)

Mexican food can be as spicy as you want.

I'm hoping the overwintering Thai, Cayenne, and Tabasco chili pepper plants survive and give earlier, bigger crops. I will also start new ones in December, since they are slow growing.

If that's the case Daniel - do not send Santa a letter like this one. Don't worry about the crops, the Christmas fairy will see to those!
