Because it used to live in this cramped container (the blue one on the left)

And now... it has room to grow!

I'm happy now too! Especially since the barrel was free and the "bamboo curtain" was $2 at a yard sale last year. :-D

Any plant that gets that much TLC has got to be happy.

If your water lily could talk it would be telling you it's loving its new home. I like the delicate shade of yellow of the flower.

Deanna... all that "stone" is actually old scalloped concrete edging that a friend wanted out of his yard. I gladly volunteered to haul it off for him. Wish I could find more.

Jerry... I had been feeling sorry for them all cramped up. You could almost hear them breathe a sign of relief.

Thanks Laura and Eileen. It is a pretty yellow. It didn't have a tag when I bought it. I do have a Lemon Mist that is similar... but it's center is more vibrant.

Now.. maybe the lily I got from Fountainman will finally get a chance to bloom too!

Toni... I got the tablets from a nursery near work. They had huge bags of it with factory labels (and a big price tag)... more than I could use in years. Then they had smaller brown sacks with 10 tablets in then with "Agriform" written on them.
I put one in each pot this spring.
