    Oh dear, they are more complicated than I thought. Or at least trying to identify them is.

    I agree about the ID, I must confess that I always have the experts name everything for me. The guy that named these for me wrote books on them and was top man at the museum here. I had a lot of robber flies images going into a magazine and he ID them all for me. He is the top man on robber flies too.

    Glad to hear that Kildale. I do like dragon flies though even if I cannot name them.
