Yesterday a very loved and spoiled member of our family was killed by a pitbull. It happened so fast and the injuries were so extensive that she needed to be put down. If you're the praying type my family could use some. We're all still in shock and I feel like it was a bad dream. I have to say if it wasn't for my garden to putz about in I'd about lose it. Her name is Willow and she will always be missed.
Thank you so much for the responses. It's strangely quiet in this house now. The family and I are taking a trip to Wisconsin dells for the holiday weekend. This family of mine is tough as nails. Like I always say "this too will pass".

Willow I'm sure now that you have passed over the Rainbow bridge you will be content in knowing you will be reunited with your loving family.
