    Well they may have been back a while, but I haven't been to the pond for a few weeks.

    Very pretty :D All we round here are mallards, although there are one or 2 ducks in the flock that are different looking :)

    Wood ducks are so lovely! We had nine Hooded Mergansers on our pond this weekend, but we can't get close enough to photograph them. Guess we'll just have to look at your photos and be envious!

    Doesn't Mother Nature produce some really handsome birds? I know very little about these ducks except that they nest in trees. Thanks for sharing a wonderfully clear picture of yours.
