    We get lots of these in the garden, but I have never seen this happening before.

    And then today the parents were teaching baby how to feed from the nutholders.

    Wonderful shots Eric - much better than any I've ever taken of Great Spotted Woodpeckers!!!! I would feel sooo proud if 'my' parent birds brought their youngster to feed at my bird table.

    Very nice photos. i cant seem to find any woodpeckers to save my life. I hear them but cant find them.

    Nice photos. I heard a woodpecker in our woods too, but never see the little bugger.
