It's a laptop this time....so I can sit on my deck with all my flowers and type this! I can also now post pics! Started a photo folder here already =) But, every time I edit and save a pic on the Paint program, Windows security pops up a thing that says "threat detected and removed. No action required" Why would it say that? I wasn't on the internet at the time...? I guess I shouldn't worry about it....??? Or should I? Very strange.
Hi Toad that sounds strange. Which antivirus software (if any) are you running? Where is the location of the folder you are saving it to?
I'm using the Windows Essentials antivirus. My nephew assured me that is all I would need. I am editing the pics in MS Paint and saving them to My Pictures folder under My Documents. Would it have anything to do with the wireless (there are usually at least two different names showing up under my wireless connection)? Thanks for any insight! =)
This is directly from Microsoft's website: 1/ Click Windows button / Hit Windows key 2/ Click Control Panel 3/ Click Java 4/ Click Settings 5/ Click Delete Files... 6/ Check all checkboxes, hit Ok 7/ Uncheck "Keep temporary files on my computer.", hit Ok Source and further information: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/prot ... 5b23fc1d94 Let us know if it works!
Toad FYI we too, have windows 7 on a laptop....We do believe there is a glitch in their programming in another area. We continually get a little "caution triangle" (sorry, I have no idea how else to describe it) over the wireless internet connection symbol and have intermittent service for the wireless....VERY frustrating. We have a "computer guru" son and he has a friend who does computer programing who cannot figure it out other than to say "we believe there is a glitch in their programming". needless to say, I avoid using that computer.
