Worm bin additions

    I didn't see some things in THIS post so I thought I would add it.

    When a worm bin is set up you can set it so that you have some drainage of excess fluid. This black gold is considered a nutrient rich liquid for watering especially for saplings and for heavy feeders such as fruit plants like strawberries.

    Also, the eggshells may not be "needed" for the calcium needs but I have found in many different references that they help to keep the acidity down so the worms are happier.

    I am a picture man myself so if anyone has any pictures it might help those of us that are more "see it do it" oriented.

    There is more info out there and as I find it again I will add what I have been able to find about them.
