After taking the vine off the porch rail, I put up a new wren house underneath the eaves. Not even 10 minutes after putting it up, a wren moved in and then chewed me out for working underneath the nest. We've come to an understanding now I guess, as I get a lot less flack each time I work outside.

Fantastic shot. :-D I've been trying to capture a wren with my camera for ages but they just won't sit still for long enough. I love the fact that they're so small but can hold their own amongst the other, larger, birds. We call them 'Jenny wrens' here but I have no idea why. :-?
