    We went to some yard sales today and found just the thing I need for doing yard work with a bad knee. It was a great deal, just seven dollars. It's self propelled, but it could use a steering wheel. I almost ended up in a rose bush when I was trying it the first time. It rolls quite well, especially down hill. The seat goes around so you can do a circle before moving along. It will be great for cutting the grass along the little wash in the back yard since I can't get down on my knees. Dooley

    It seems like you might need some brakes also. Wannabe

    DOOLEY'S GARDEN BUGGY

    Hi, Dooley;
    You have found what I've been looking for because I have a bad knee also. I've been able to find them new at gardening supply stores/catalogs but the ones that appear stout enough to support my 200+ pounds are too expensive ($50 +UP) for my budget. So, you're wondering what I'm blabbering about, right? Your picture is so good that I can use it to build my own copy of your cart,,, IF you will tip it over and post a couple of shots of the underside so I can see how the seat is mounted.
    Hank

    It's too dark now but I will do it tomorrow evening when I get home from work. Can you make a model with steering and brakes? LOL It works just great for weeding and maybe planting. I haven't tried it for much yet. Just got it today. Dooley

    Gosh Dooley how do you manage to find all those cool things and so cheaply? Mind you if I had one of those I'd probably find myself going head first into the pond!!! :oops:
