My eyes, fingers and toes are uncrossed now because the snow started about a half hour ago. Rain first, then large sloppy flakes that went 'splat' when they hit the windshield as we were coming home from having breakfast, then sleet while we were walking into the grocery store to stock up on suet blocks for the birds, then flakes and sleet on the way home and now big wet snowflakes. We could see about 4 inches before it stops later this evening.

Stay tuned for updated photos as the snow gets deeper.

Congrats on your snow Toni. Getting a nice snow here too. What is your temperature? Very cold here, so the snow is quite dry and powdery.

Kay, it's hovering around the freezing mark but the temps are still dropping. Supposed to be in the mid 20's by tomorrow morning. Sad thing is, this will all be gone by tomorrow afternoon :( :'(

Book yourself a flight to Scotland Toni and you can see as much snow as you like. ;) We've just had another 4" inches so there's more than enough to share. :stew2:

Toni, hope you get the white stuff you want.

Oh Eileen, I like the idea of snow covering up my messy frozen yard :-D ...just don't like the idea of it covering up the roads. :-?

Things are a little frozen, but thaw during the day..sometimes, but I am feeling the spring bug coming on.

Didn't get nearly as much snow as I wanted, the system moved thru here faster than expected so we only got about an inch. :(
Might be some heavy sleet overnight which will make the roads dangerous, but we'll see.

Let me get this straight--you want snow, Toni? As in more of the white stuff that is cold and lays on the ground and one has to move it about to get in and out of driveways and sidewalks? You can have my share. I really, really do not want any snow! I'm glad there are folks that enjoy the stuff, but for me, "snow" is a four-letter word!

I was cheated yesterday :'( got a whoppin' inch if you measured a drift. Some areas just a little north of me got up to 6 inches and I bet they probably didn't even appreciate it!

MG, I have loved snow since I was a kid. Not for playing in or because it closed school for a day or so, but to stand in it as it fell, to stand out in the yard and soak in the atmosphere of the world around me in the quiet beauty it left behind and the way it made everything look so majestic. I have had to drive to work, babysitter and store in it and loved every minute of it. I think I might have been a snowman in previous lives, like Frosty with my spirit coming back every time it snowed, to enjoy the snowy days. ;)

Where in the world are you Toni? I know it says North Texas but here along the I-30 corridor, as the weatherman calls it, we got between 6 and 8 inches. I think I will try a pic later. Haven`t tried since I got this new notebook for Christmas.
