Mart, I am in Carrollton....the northwest corner of Dallas county, just a hop, skip and a jump from some of the places that got 6-8 inches. But as it happens almost every time there is a good rain or snow in the area, I am under the thinnest sections of clouds and get very little compared to some places less than a mile down the street from me.
