up until recently my lawn has been in great shape but now seems to be going against my best wishes by turning increasingly YELLOW. Does anyone has any suggestions as to why this might be?

    please help.

If you have centipede grass, you may want to avoid too much nitrogen. In the heat of summer, you can hit centipede with a little ironite(ferrous granules) to bring it up to green.

Welcome to the forum digitalMedia Its going to be nice to get a view from the USA on gardening issues. Ive never come across ironite here in Ireland, We would use Ferrous Sulphate which would do the same job.
