    Well you may not have Martins yet but the Bluebirds seem to love it. If I was a bird I'd move in and you'd never get rid of me. ;)

    Purple Martins prefer to live in large open areas. A source of food(flying insects) should be available, mosquitoes do not count. Members of the swallow family Martins also prefer large open fields and open water. Hmmmm....my purple martin knowledge is running low. They return to their summer home about the same two week period each year('Uncle Jack's' summer camp had a Purple Martin colony, always amusing to a 7 year old) . I need to recharge my Purple Martin battery.
