Woke up to a new covering of snow this morning. Just when I thought we'd seen the last of it too. Thankfully, the sun has now come out and it's melting slowly.
Hi Eileen, I looked around at the various forecasts and the best I could find is the BBC forecast which has a nice sunny day Sunday. The others were not so good. So use the BBC weather predictions and you will be O.K. Jerry
Ooops, Spring is under there somewhere waiting to erupt and take your breath away. Before too long snow will be just an ugly, fading memory.....until next winter
I am VERY sorry to see that, Eileen---it makes me wonder if the flurries will blow on across the channel. Burrrrrrrrrrr.
I share your feelings, Eileen. We've also got more snow, about 10 cm of it. We're supposed to have rain and high winds over the week-end, so I guess that will take care of the snow. The snowdrops are trying to come out but I think they redecided.
We've had another fall of snow again today. It's been accompanied by gale force winds and hail just to make life a bit more interesting. The gritters have been out as the roads are covered in ice with snow on top. Let's hope it disappears before the week-end but I have my doubts.
It sounds bad over there, Eileen. I sure hope that it doesn't come over this way. I shall keep a close look-out. We have quiter strong wind over here at the moment...but the sun is shining and only as few white puffers.
Stop sending that crap westwards! We had an inch of heavy wet snow last night after an inch and a half of rain the day before!
I will ask NOAA to change their long range weather forecast for Ohio. But with the present upper air wind pattern those web feet are looking better all the time. There are no high pressure air masses that would clear out the area till Sunday. Even then it will not last long as storms in the Pacific will find their way eastward mid-week. Hello NOAA......? Busy signal........ Jerry
