I was so thrilled to see the honey bees on the sedum in my flower be. I'm thinking that they are from a neighbors bees hive about 1 mile from us as the crow flies. I just had to share my happy moment with you.

Bees forage in a three mile radius if they need to. Obviously your garden is now a "target" for your neighbor's bees. Congratulations!

It is a delightful sight to see.
What other plants are you seeing the honey bees on?

That's great! I was worried this spring and early summer as I didn't see a single Honey Bee. All of a sudden there they were and I was very happy too! I have the only flower gardens for miles :)

This year I've had quite a few honey bees here too. It's so good to see bees enjoying our gardens isn't it? :-D

I love having the bees visit my garden so I can feel your excitement! I expect that the ones in your picture will have put the word round back at the hive :D

Sjoerd-we have a ton of wild asters and golden rod. Great Bee food. We have also been seeing quite a few Monarch butterflies. :-D

Netty the bees must have spread the news about your garden and came for lunch.

Eileen That is super. Since the honey bees have been having such a hard time of it with the crazy bee disease.

Kaismum I guess so. As I mentioned above-they love the wild asters and golden rod. :stew1:

I'm glad your getting honeybees. T2S. Someone must have hives within the 3 miles of me as I've had some most of the summer but now that the sedum is blooming there is a lot more.

2ofou you probably do. Unless they are wild honey bees. They do love sedum. :stew1:
