In the city now deciding what to have for lunch...a tad soggy underfoot.

I always wondered why here in the US we never converted to Celsius, or the metric system. Either we are too dumb, or too stubborn. I know in my case... its both.

BITE YOUR TONGUE, @Jersey Devil !!
I see no reason to change. I like my fahrenheit thank you very much !!
Next thing ya know they'll be wanting us to change Miles per hour to kilometers per hour !! Sheesh !!

    It was 34° FAHRENHEIT.......:smt044
last night and now it's windy 20-25 mph wind gusts with a high of 57.
I have to get my potted plants in this afternoon because tuesday morning is supposed to be frosty with a low of 27. It's also going to be windy so my citrus trees will be ok.

JD … and Anniekay… the Arctic Blast is a real winter freeze in both your states. Stay warm & be safe .

It’s chilly outside as the overcast marine layer is stuck over us nowadays till late afternoon. Cranking up the heat a bit today. Staying inside. Not nearly as cold as the eastern section of the US. Thank goodness. But that doesn’t mean the PNW won’t be in your shoes (JD and Anniekay), anytime soon.

Yes, you know that sooner or later that jet stream will relocate over your area, Pac and you'll be in our shoes. The difference is that yours will dig in and stay around, yours and JD's, that is, for much longer than my area. We are back to above freezing Wednesday morning. Poor JD is in for it for the duration, it seems.

Bundle up !! Keep warm !! This too shall pass. :)

Oreti that’s no fair. A beautiful pic showing the bright sunny sky and a rainbow too . :nerdy: My gosh the weather fairy’s are working on your side of the pond today. Happy to see the sky bloomed for you as that is the perfect picture of the day. :smt041

It’s still cold overcast here, looks so sad and dreary outside. Very much like your first dreary pic ….I’ve closed my curtains, cranked the heat up dawned my winter longjohns and heavy duty socks and snuggled under a Snuggie blanket and I’m still cold. I may have to get out the room heater. But your sunny picture gave me hope and warmed up my soul … how beautiful …”A beautiful Day in your Neighborhood” :smt026

Sorry to hear you're feeling cold Pac....have you got any hot water bottles. I so love mine and tend to use them when I snuggle down for the evening not so much actually in bed. We have the ordinary ones and the long ones + a very small one, which are brilliant for easing my spine or to wrap around my shoulders and neck..

I have been known to also use them as heat mats under certain seed trays to help germination too.:whistling:

Wind gusts are up to 30mph now. coming out of the NNW
    53 °f and feels like 44.
Now they say it will only get down to 29 by midnight but I think it'll be much colder as the night goes on, or at least feel much colder tonight.

I'll have my winter jammies and socks on in bed. Might pull out my big comforter to throw on top of the covers too.
