It was only a low of 62°f last night. I have my heat on 67 but the house holds heat well so no electricity was wasted on heating. The high was 80°f. I went on a shopping spree with a friend. Six hours out shopping !! Now I'm ready for a rest !! But it was really nice shopping weather all in all.
Anniekay 80F today … oh what I wouldn’t give for that kind of sunshine around here. We are in the mist of constant marine layer hanging around most of the day with heavy fog and misty cloudy grey skies. Can’t see the end of the driveway. As most of us who live in the PNW in winter we call that bright light object in the sky a UFO , rarely seen from Nov thru May. Bummer… Shopping day for you before Turkey Day. So spill … what all did you find? Any trinkets for me?

I had fog on Saturday and again today but, yesterday was again a high of 80°f and sunny. I picked up my friend at 9am and we went all over !! I got some nice 3 wick candles at Aldi along with a little food. Then we ate at Popeyes because we were starved and they gave us free sodas !! Then we hit The Lowes and I got some soil. She got a houseplant (like she needed one , NOT) Then we hit Ollies. I got stackable coffee cups for 99¢ a piece !! Giant packs of batteries for $9.99. Then off to Walmart where I got my friend a toaster oven for Christmas...early because hers kicked the bucket. Then we checked out 2 secondhand stores. I was dragging my arse into the house, totally whipped from all that walking !! Today, I'm gonna rest, galldangit !!
Didn't get any rain today but it was cold and cloudy with a gentle breeze from the north north west temp 6c feels like 6c now it's 3c feels like -1c with a clear sky.
Not sure what todays weather was like...greyish I think. Head is still in a fog of stress/ worry.....but thankully all is good and we are home now and our bed is calling us. Hubs had a sudden bleed from his surgery wound yesterday ( Sunday) . Finally got back this evening from hospital . It was a worry due to the fact he takes blood thinners....but everthing is good now and we are hoping he can restart taking them tomorrow.......the last thing we want now is for his heart to start playing up too.

It’s one of those days you just gotta smile when waking up to the such a gorgeous sun rise . We are under siege as the winter approaches…really cold… Anniekay Just shut up…. On the down side… I don’t want to hear any more about your 80F degree days while I have to wear 3 layers of clothing just to go to my mailbox…. But… On the up side ski season is starting. Really frosty out this AM. yikes…
