Got 3 1/2" rain yesterday evening when, finally, a big thunderbumper came through and dumped a few olympic sized pools of water into the yard ! ! I heard it raining again just before I went to bed. The wind scattered some palm fronds and their blooming sticks around. I found one in the beans about 40' from the palm and a few branches came down in the back yard. It's too wet to fool with that right now and they say we have a 40% chance of more rain. 75°f - 90 for the high.
@Anniekay good news you got a lot of rain…well… and the wind left your yard in a bit of a mess. It’s not easy to clean all those branches and debrie up. Sending the Clean Up Fairies your way.

Lovely and sunny start to our Friday...honestly...looking at the forecast it may not be believable!!!! We have been out every day this week ( and possibly again tomorrow) so my day wil! be spent absorbed in calming garden tasks...thoroughly looking forward to it.
74°f - 94 Blue skies with big white puffy clouds here and there. A heat dome is supposed to be coming. Everyone at the Grocery Store was talking about it. I don plan on going out unless I have to until the sun is on it's way down for the next few days at least.

73°f - 96. Right now it's 80°f and because of 80% humidity it feels like 87 and it's not yet 8am !! The heat dome has arrived. The temps, they say, will feel like around 100°f at 3pm. My grass needs cutting but it ain't happenin' today !!
