I would like to find out if yucca cane likes to be tight in the pot or not. Not having any problems with the plant now, but I don't want to have any either by treating it the wrong way. Thanks
I have read that when in pots they like to be quite root bound. As long as there is enough soil around the roots to hold moisture about 3+ days after a good soaking watering, they will be fine. Adding more soil to put them in a larger pot creates a constantly moist environment that can cause root rot and kill the plant.
yucca reply I know one thing in the pictures they sure are pretty. I know from seeing them in person that they grow very large as well. My mother-in-law has some in her front yard and they do just fine by themselves without any care at all that I know of.
