    Placed a few seed orders. One with Baker Creek. The other Urban Farmer. Not much just some hot pepper varieties, kale and lettuce seed. Oh and the all important seed starting mix.

    what do you use -seed starting mix. I like those round peat pots very hardy. It’s a bit early to start seeds here yet. We generally can’t plant out til June…

    @Pacnorwest I have been using the Miracle Grow mix because of local availability but last year there seemed to be more wood pieces in it than before. So I did some research and ordered the Espoma Organic mix. Hopefully I like it more. My seed starting in my zone starts in February.

    I see there are many new sterile seed starter mediums. I used to make my own for years before commercial brands.
