We went to Milwaukee Zoo in Wisconsin the week after the fourth of July. I found some interesting flowers that I would like to share with you.

Sherry in your first photograph of the butterfly it looks as though the flower beds were also in the shape of a butterfly - am I right? What a lovely idea. I wonder if I could make a smaller version in my own garden?

The topiary animals are great but I wouldn't have the patience to keep trimming them I'm afraid. The flower cones are beautiful. Thank you for sharing your photographs with us all.

Eileen I think you are right...I should of studied it closer when I was there. That is a good idea... I wouldn't want anything that has to be trimmed all the time...no patience..

Those are very pretty arrangements. What are the flowers on the cone? The topiaries are adorable. Must have been a good time.

That Butterfly garden is neat! I also really like the 3 planters in the 3rd photo.
