1 ounce/28 grams Peppermint Essential Oil
3 ounces/85 grams rubbing alcohol

mix together in a fine mist sprayer. Apply to arms and legs but do NOT use it on face, near eyes or on very small children.
It is a strong mixture but very effective. Also, the alcohol evaporates making you cooler and the peppermint makes you smell good Mr. Green

Always shake the bottle before using.

Looks like something I could try. We've got gnats, and lots of them too.

I've never made up a spray with peppermint oil before. I usually use citronella but will try the peppermint as anything that might keep midges away is fine by me. Very Happy

I'm sure that will smell better than 'Avon, Skin So Soft' that people were using (and maybe still) several years ago. Plus it made me itch! I'll try Dr. Toni's brew. Wink

I've heard listerine works well too. Put it in a spray bottle and spray the area you'll be in and around yourself. Same thing dont get it in your eyes.
