    Do you have an all-over photo of it, poppy? It does look like some sort of lily but I'm not quite comfortable with it's center.

    It is a beauty and I agree with Droopy, we need a full shot so we can see the leaves and how the flower or flower cluster is attached.

    Were the leaves very large and arched toward the ground? It could be a crinum lily, but I can't be sure without seeing either the leaves or the flower spike.

    It also looks like the blooms are gathered on top, like the Clivia.

    It could be Crinum x powelli alba

    Looks like a spider lily to me. Are the leaves thin and long?
