Can someone tell me what this plant is. My friend just bought a house and all kinds of things are popping up. We've identified everything but this.

I'm not seeing the photo. Is it just me?

Vidilynn, your photo didn't show up. Check out the How to Post Photos tutorial. If you have any question let us know.

It looks like a Dracena of some sort or maybe a Pony Tail Palm.

It looks like "Mexican Petunia" to me. But can't tell for sure without the blooms. Mine puts on plenty of little pink flowers.

Mexican Petunia has a brown stem but the one in her pictures looks like a woody stem and the leaves are just coming from the top not all along the stem.

Vidilynn, can you get us a picture of the plant from ground level instead of from above?

Not that is it, :D but the plant in question reminds me of a small Dracaena.

I still say it's a Mexican Petunia... a young one.
Here's a photo of mine that is much older... but you can still see the "bark-like" stem... and the leaves are identical.
