I'm so excited! I just placed my first order for irises from Schreiner's. From what I've read, they have a great reputation.

Anyway, I just started getting into irises, lilies and daylilies last year. I've been trying to build up my perennial flower beds (I'm sure the neighbors are thrilled. They had been neglected for years.)

My DH's dad past away 5 years ago. His name is Joe (Joseph). My DH's mother had a massive stroke in November. She is still alive and has been gradually improving, but the stroke left paralyzed and with permanent brain damage. Her name is Mary Frances.

I was so stunned to find out there was an iris named Mary Frances! There's also a dwarf iris named Joe Cool! I ordered one of each for each of the DH's family members. This way they can start a little memorial garden.

For myself, I also order the Tie Dye collection (Gnu, Gnus Flash, Brindled Beauty, Tiger Honey and Batik) and the 9 Great Favorite's collection (Alizes, Beverly Sills, Jazzed Up, Lady Friend, Mary Frances, Stepping Out,Supreme Sultan, Sweet Musette and Sweeter Than Wine). I'm so excited! But now I have to wait until July to get them.

You've picked a nice selection of Iris BB and I hope they all grow, and bloom, well for you. You must let us see them when they do flower - especially Mary Frances and Joe Cool.

    That is a great company.

The last two years I have been ordering from another company. I am very happy
with their service and irises. I had to wait until August for delivery.

Boo berry, I will be getting ballistic, boo, Canadian kisses, devoted, flirting, lady in red, icon, and wide open. It will be fun having more color.

I have a dwarf iris that I've had for 25+ yrs that is a fragrant early purple. I've been able to give away lots of these since I started planting them on the patio (I pulled up a paver and planted them in the loam). They no longer get lost among the beds and are really shown off. I now have some along paths in the back yard also. Unfortunately racing dogs often break off many of the blooms.

Guess I will be pulling more bricks: :-?
