Here is a picture of 1 of my tomato plants with brown leaves.
This pot is where the mouse goes into the base of the flower pot.
    Hope this helps.
    Stay cool

Ed... is the mouse actually going inside of the pot with the tomato plant?

Is it possible the mouse is nibbling on the roots? And if so, could this be causing the browning?

I don't think that lil mousey would be killing that tomato plant. Why don't you make sure that plant is not in the sun at the moment and water it so there is water in the saucer for a few days...

That's my suggestion..don;t blame the poor lil mousey...LOL

I am just North of Ed a little and and for many many days it has been 105 degrees in the sun.

Now I just got an pm from Edlou8181. He said he has moved all his plants to the back of his balcony and has sent me pictures.

I think he will be better off this way.... until the heat is gone. Good luck Ed.
