Category: Around our garden. | Posted: Tue May 01, 2007 2:12 pm Just before Ian and I leave on our trip to Holland I thought I'd post a few photographs for you all of some of the plants and flowers in our garden. Primroses.
Water buttercups in our pond.
Little pear tree.
Grape hyacinth and white anaemone.
Euphorbia. Can you spot my little Dooley?
Red acer.
Strawberries in flower.
Quince bush flowering VERY early.
Thrift.
Bluebells.
Pieris.
Bleeding heart.
Tulips.
Lavender.
Azaelea.
Peony rose.
Some of my clematis ready to flower.
Lily, iris and others.

Not boring at all Eileen. Your lavender is ahead of mine, I only have one bud forming on one plant.
I'm not too sure Toni. Maybe Clint and Ina will let me borrow theirs for a while. If I can't I'll be taking lots of piccies so that you can all see what we've been up to on our travels.
Eileen, You still have tulips blooming , ours are done. I love the pear tree , its cute. Peony rose is a lovely color. Have a safe and fun holiday!
Looks great. Is there another name you know for that h2o buttercup? I would like to find that. Have a smashing time on your trip.
Bet you'll be sad to leave all of that loveliness behind Eils. Love the tulip pics. We'll miss you while you are away. Have a great trip!
Bethie the other name for the water buttercup is Ranunculus flabellaris.

Oh my, I missed this somehow,
