I am a GRANDMA!!

Category: Family | Posted: Sat Sep 29, 2007 9:18 pm

Well, I haven't been on much, been busy. Trying to get things ready so Hubby and I can take a short trip to see his family. My youngest son and is wife, however have been busier. After 36 hours of trying to induce her labor with no success, A c-section brought us the most blessed baby boy. His name is Mason Evan. He weighed in at 9lbs, 2oz and only 19 inches long. He is a little chunk to hold. These photos were taken within minutes of his birth. I can't wait to watch him grow and become his own little person. I never knew being a grandma would feel this awesome! I am truly blessed. Thank you God. Anyway, here he is.....

Congrats DF, he is certainly a cute chunk. Yep, being a gramma has to be the most spectacular feeling on earth. Having your own kids is one type of special feeling, but having grandkids is just so much more.

My oldest daughter weighed 9lbs 2 oz and was so much easier to hold than the 6lb 6oz second daughter.

Now you have a very special reason to quit smoking.

Many congratulations to your son and his wife and, of course, to you on the birth of little Mason Evan. He is absolutely adorable.

Welcome to our world Mason.

Big congratulations, and welcome to the Grandma Society Desertflower!

If those were taken just minutes after his birth, your lovely grandson is truly beautiful. How blessed you all are.

Thanks everyone. Yes they were minutes after birth. His little hamds were still a little blue but pinked up quickly. He has the most beautiful creamy skin. Nothing like my kids who were kinda red and fragile looking. He has a neck but you have to pull back th wrinkles to see it lol. I am going to see him again today! Can't wait to hold him again. Maybe I'll get some new pic's.

If your compost pile does not heat as it should, add more green organic matter, cover it if is too rainy or wet.
