Passion District X Born to Run

Category: DAYLILY HYBRIDIZING | Posted: Thu Jul 23, 2009 11:15 pm

First Flowered Open (FFO) on this cross,

A little more washed out than I wouldve liked, this was later on in the afternoon and not as red as I was hoping for, but this may change with subsequent flowers.

The form is pretty nice, the biggest attribute to this flower is its very fragrant, I love daylily fragrance, though not many are fragrant.

Its sibling will open tommorow, so will be interested to see it.

I love the fragance of my peach daylily. Yours certainly has a pleasing color combination :)

Silverkelt, that is not bad for a first flower. It's darn good in fact. I know you were hoping for red, but that is a very unusual color, and the unusual is what rocks the daylily world. The edge looks good too.

That is a beautiful color.I can't wait for my first one. I have several, so I will be surprised to see what pops first!
