Small plant crowding my astilbe and hosta...

    I think this is a small tree ofshoot. It is crowding my Astilbe and also the hosta. I want to pull it out but want to make sure I am not taking out something nice.

    yes, looks like a Choke Cherry tree. Its going to the brush pile too.
