					Plans for Permanent Plants
Category: Garden Plans and New Ideas | Posted: Fri Oct 22, 2010 12:23 pm Always fighting the crabgrass and other weeds in the Asparagus and Strawberries so this fall I am going to put down some black plastic, place cinder blocks around the edges and fill it with garden dirt and compost. I'll have to go 2 - 3 blocks high for the Asparagus but only one high for the Strawberries. Transplant them in their new beds. Hopefully this will make it easier and I think it will look nice also. Then I am going fill the holes in the blocks with soil and plant my onions and garlic in those. I can't wait to get started! This blog entry has been viewed 207 times
