Spring is coming!

Category: Shaw's Life Lessons | Posted: Fri Mar 13, 2015 2:45 pm

I can finally feel it in the wind, it is no longer blisteringly cold outside, in fact i can feel warmth coming in the wind, and I like it. We are lucky, the temperature is a mild 30-50 degrees, because if the snow all melted at once, we are screwed.

So I have yet to start an plants, I will sometime in the middle of april, unless i want to get dirty sooner i'll start at the beginning, though I did set up some spearmint and thyme seeds, and the thyme is.... growing much better than I anticipated.

My stevia is gorgeous, even though the main part had died, but it really wants to live and flourish, and it is sooooo tasty! My aloe is alive, and I even started some cactus, my son hates it because it hurts, though they are still only seedlings, and nothing has grown on them yet lol. My bromilaid is still alive, which is saying something good about it, not really growing, but i didn't plan on it to get much bigger than it is already.

I have a really beautiful Jade plant, I want it to grow really friggen big, I saw one that was enormous, and I was like, duuude! I want that! So i'm in the process of having my Jade just plain GROW! It's exciting to see :D

I hope everyone down south is enjoying that 70+ weather, I can't wait for it here!!
