Weekend happy time

Category: Happy Times | Posted: Fri Apr 17, 2009 12:03 pm

It was Easter and I could hardly visit the stew. I missed out on so many Easter fun and all the lovely stuff that the Stewbies share on the Stew.
My Easter weekend was spent with a few friends and of course my sister (the one that is always around when I need her) and her friends.
This is going to be one of those stolen moment blog entries because I do not want the others to walk in on me and see what I will be posting. (They always want to stay anonymous).

Thus with no further fuss - This is our Easter holiday place in Paternoster. Paternoster is a well-known fisherman's village on our West Coast.

Even though it was quite hot, the water was freezing and alternative plans had to be made. Nobody, wanted to get that cold.

The alternative was beach soccer - major fun. (Whispering - she must not hear) This is my daughter.

And (whispering again) here is my sister also joining in the fun

Refreshments on the beach - always welcome (whispering again) My boy and my husband.

ANd then the walk back to the house. (a sneaked photo)

Oops - have to dash - Ican hear them in the lounge making their way towards me...

So glad you managed to post as many photographs as you did before anyone disturbed you. (I promise not to tell.) It looks as though you all had a lovely relaxing week-end together. There's just nothing like a family group plus friends to make a break seem perfect is there?

Hiyah Palmpie! :-)
Thanks for sharing the Easter fotos with us. It looks so nice there even I could see that it was quite windy. It looks like you guys really had a good time. That sun looks so nice.
We are having a bit of a cold, gray day here today...so seeing the sun and waves looked GREAT.

Great pictures, looks like fun was had by all. That looks like the kind of wind we have been having for the last 10 months or so.
Glad you were able to share them with us without getting caught.

You said it Eileen (Thanks for keeping it on the hush.)
Fun is the right word Sjoerd, and it was quite windy. I am glad to share the sun. I cannto share a lot of garden itself thus the alternative is family and friends. The wind made it cold to get oneself wet. That is apart from the icecold current that flows around our West Coast. ANd it is after all the Atlantic coast.
Toni - we have had that wind only for a few days, and I can say it was more than enough at that stage. Imagine having wind for 10 months - ouch.

Oooooh this is fun - doing things on the sly...

I can shout, they won't hear me since I'm so far away. *lol* Lovely photos, they made me wish for summer. You've got a lovely family.
