Busy, Busy This Spring!

Category: Gardening,Butterflies, Birds | Posted: Sat Apr 03, 2010 10:54 pm

Well, Spring has come once again to western North Carolina, and I am finding it very hard to keep up with everything.

I am slowly working on my butterfly garden re-do in the afternoons after work. I have managed to get one edge replanted in Anise Hyssop and Coreopsis "Baby Sun". I have to go slow, so I won't kill some of the expensive plants I have scattered around all over the "old" butterfly garden

I have planted some of my tomato plants, in the vegetable garden even though I know there will be another frost before Mother's Day. I am planning to put a frame around them to protect them.

I am trying to work on articles for my butterfly site, and write a butterfly book as well.

I stay tired, but it sure makes me happy to be able to get back outside again! I hope you all are having fun too!

I'd love to see that butterfly garden of yours when you're ready to show it. :D I so love photos of other peoples' gardens.

When I get done with it, I will be happy to post some pictures. Right now, there is not a lot to see. I am having to go real slow so I won't lose any of my "special" plants. I forget where they are!
