where oh where did the weekend go lol
Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Mon Jul 30, 2012 10:26 am I guess it just flew by because I was a busy little beaver I made 3 little tin can dogs and since I had no flower pots I made a tin can flower pot girl to stand in my flower bed hope to get her painted and her head planted today boy so many ideas and so little time lol it's amazing what you can come up with when you are kept inside because of the heat but am having a ball I wished people would stop and leave me boxes of stuff for me to make more stuff lol haven't had the gas to curb shop lately but did find dear daughter a big windchime on the side of the road and fixed and painted it for her looks brand new she loved it she has finally seen the good stuff I make after many years of OH MOM DON'T STOP AT PEOPLES TRASH PILES LOL well look for the beauty God has created today and take time to enjoy it and have a great green thumb day see ya later alligator This blog entry has been viewed 365 times

well finally got some of my garden crafts done and put out

I have to get out and work in the evenings when it is cooler can't wait to get real flowers planted amongst the crafts next year I will have beautiful flower beds I recieved some pink holly hocks from a friend that I will plant next spring and others here have been so generous with me as far as seeds will get them out then too as I feel it is too late for this year so stay tuned lol have a great green thumb day and stop and admire Gods handy work to make such a beautiful painting for us to observe till later This blog entry has been viewed 381 times

woke up to thunder and lightning this morning

whew another hot day

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Thu Jul 19, 2012 9:03 am I finally found a cute small electric weed eater yesterday for $25.00 well you just know I had to try it out and am happy to say my yard arounnd the flower beds look good but now I am paying for it not going to do any yard work for a couple of days because my spring chicken days has gone to roost lol so will stay inside and do some crafts I have been wanting to get finished and take it easy. I found the cutest little dog made from cans I want to make and then thought why not do a cat and several other animals so am going to try those will post pics when I get them done so please enjoy our beautiful sites and sounds God has provided today and have a green thumb day smiles to you This blog entry has been viewed 419 times
ouch my back hurts

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Tue Jul 17, 2012 10:50 am didn't get to work in yard last night too much lightning going on so brought my benches in and started painting them for the front flower bed nice bright colors I love bright it makes me feel good so hope it makes people in a hurry on the road feel brighter each day am loving working on my garden stuff seems I have so much to do and not enough hours in a day. lol wished I could find some good stuff curb shopping so I could make some more good stuff lol well hope all stop and smell a beautiful flower today and thank God for it's beauty and have a green thumb day all see ya later This blog entry has been viewed 274 times

finally got to work in my yard again
Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Mon Jul 16, 2012 8:35 am it was a bit humid last evening but got alot done in my front flower bed used what I had left of the plastic to kill grass and weeds so that I can buy dirt to go in front flower bed and picked up a bunch of small river rock and put in the major front flower bed it is really starting to look good with the rock in it and hopefully will keep the weeds down someput the pups on a runner and they enjoyed being outside so much with me they just run and played and barkedI may just work on the outside spray painting today be sure to stop and smell the flowers today and have a happy green thumb day This blog entry has been viewed 303 times

rains gone for now
Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Sun Jul 15, 2012 10:54 am and hot sticky weather is coming back yuckkkkkkkkk my flowers are all perky looking now with all the rain finally the yard has been mowed and will be able to work on the front flower bed this evening when it cools off hopefully will be able to get out and do some spray painting and get some of my yard crafts out depends how the heat affects me today I have made a cute sunflower grouping from butter tubs and also made a birdfeeder and birdhouse pole from old bed headboard and footboards just need to seal it good since it is wood so be watching pics coming soon so take the time to enjoy what God and mother nature has provided today and have a green thumb day all This blog entry has been viewed 257 times

rain rain rain

Oh well my flowers are loving it they are coming back to lifr after all this liquid sunshine lol.
