if you want rain

But it isn't helping the arthur in my back that is why I am up so dang early hung my porch lights last night they are made from plastic flower pots and seperated my hens and chicks planted a large hen in the cast iron teapot I got sat and got several pots of chicks planted also well gonna start my coffee and take a pain pill will talk to you all later have a green thumb day This blog entry has been viewed 271 times

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Tue Jun 05, 2012 11:47 am it rained sometime last night and everything is looking very perky in my garden I am enjoying all of it and the lion water works is making me so happy it doesn't take much I know but after all it is the little things that make life worth living don't you think so too?am going out and water the plants on the porch this morning as it didn't get them last night have 2 swaps to do for another forum so will be busy with those today and have another garden thing to work on for outside also am going to try and do a tute for the dragonflies for those that want it here so have a beautiful green thumb day all and thank you for reading my blog garden hugs to all This blog entry has been viewed 266 times

been a longgggggggg weekend and
Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Mon Jun 04, 2012 10:28 am I am so tired this morning but did manage to make a glass birdbath and a glass totem for my new garden bed today plan to get my birdfeeders hung on shepard hooks and my hummie feeders I had a male and female hummie checking out my fuschia sat I posted the birdbath and totem in the crafts forum they are really easy to make it is nice and cool this morning only going to 85 today. all my 1/2 dead flowers I planted sat is perky and so pretty now that I cut all the root bound off of them and am so enjoying my lions head fountain too it is so soothing to hear water running feels like you are by a small waterfall call me crazy but I think I could live in a little log cabin in the woods by a stream and be very happy lol have a great green thumb day This blog entry has been viewed 228 times

well I did it again yay!
Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Sat Jun 02, 2012 11:27 am I hit the plant morgue at lowes what a haul 6pkgs of petunias,dianthus and 2 min red roses for a@%cents each and begonias oh my also a quarter a piece. then went to freds and bought pots and soil for tipsy pots yep they turned out good. will get pics today for you also bought a 1/2 plastic whiskey barrel planter to make a pond to go with all my new plants so going this morning and yardsale to see if I can find a pretty lamp base to make a water fountain in my pond and for whatever goodies I can find pics will be posted this evening so be watching we didn't get much rain yesterday so will have to water this morning also got some lg shepards hooks to hang birdfeeders on moved my headboard and am going to get some landscape timbers and make a flower bed around the headboard so am going to be busy today have a great green thumb day This blog entry has been viewed 276 times

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Fri Jun 01, 2012 11:22 am we are suppose to get rain all day and tstorms my flowers will love it am going to get some potting soil and some pots today and maybe a couple of pieces of rebar so I can make my tipsy pots I just love them and used to have some now am starting all over clay pots here are so expensive. been so busy
Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Thu May 31, 2012 10:50 am crafting didn't get a chance to blog here the last few days am having to water my plants it has been so hot here and no rain but alas they say we have some coming today or tomorrow. Am hoping to get some more plants tomorrow or sat and definitley have to get some potting soil and pots I would love to do some tipsy pots if I can find some pots cheap and 2 pieces of rebar our ground is so hard here can't get wood post in to ground. been making all kinds of garden crafts so am going to try and stake them outside today if it isn't extremely hot like the last few days have a beautiful green thumb day till later bye bye This blog entry has been viewed 226 times

Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Mon May 28, 2012 12:08 pm all our vets and to those who have lost their lives defending our freedom. Have to buy a new pump went to make a water feature and my old pump conked out durn it I so love to hear running water in a little pond. Oh well will definitley work on that dear hubby brought me some unusal stuff home to work on my recycle crafts so am working on that will have to go out and water my plants today as we have had no rain now for several days,but hopefully am going to get some rain from the tropical storm off our coast. Everything is looking good finally got some open blooms on my fuschia and it is so pretty am pretty proud of bringing that back to life I just knew it was going to be hopeless but alas it has surprized me am so happy hope all have a great green thumb day see ya later This blog entry has been viewed 259 times

everything is growing so good yay I still have a green thumb
Category: beauty is in the eye of the beholder | Posted: Sat May 26, 2012 9:50 am my angel trumpet is growing in leaps and bounds can't wait to see my first bloom don't know how long that takes but will be patient. I hope to make alot of new rose bushes from some cuttings and all my petunias that I brought back from the dead are thriving my half dead fuchia is blooming away and so beautiful.and of course still making recycled flowers to fill in for the real ones. I don't think God created anything more beautiful than plants and flowers and people who love them just my opinion and I plan to keep enjoying them as long as I can have a beautiful green thumb day This blog entry has been viewed 291 times
